The Ultimate Warrior for Challenge 1 is Lauren

Woman Warriors Number 1

The Biggest Achiever 8 Week Challenge has concluded

Introducing the warriors

Lorna, Jenny, Mary, Barb, Ria, Cara, Lauren, Amanda,Natalie and Dee.

Day 1 Everybody has been measured and weighed, and after the previous week of completing the food diaries , they were all presented with their own data relating to energy input versus energy output.A strength session was achieved today and for some who had never exercised before they discovered muscles they did not know they had.Technique was the key component today.

Day 2 Today the ladies began to learn how to run, most of the ladies felt a little scared about this but at the end of the session they felt very proud and confidence began to rise. They then covered a circuit that involved steps, sprints, burpees, mountain climbers, squat jumps, slams and push ups. A very sweaty session was had by everyone.

Day 3 A partner session today was fun and encouraging for both the experienced exercisers and the ladies who have only begun in the past 3 days. A strength session to help increase metabilism was tough but very rewarding.I asked the  question :which session has been the toughest so far and why?: everyones comment was the cardio session because they got very hot and huffy puffy. Interesting because when I mention cardio everybody shudders. A response today of I carn't was uttered and my response was :from now on if we hear this comment everybody will do 50 push ups", I will let you know how many push ups are performed, hopefully none as not only is exercise about body strength but also mental strength. If you think you can do it you WILL.

Day 4 A great way to start the day with a boxing session, along with lots of body weight exercises. Congratulations to all the ladies as they have almost completed week 1, and I am proud to say no penalty push ups were performed today which means everybody has a can do attitude. Stay tuned tomorrow will bring pics from the first week.

Day 5 The end of week one. Congratulations everybody. A special congratulations goes to Mary this week. Mary nearly did not take part in the challenge due to past health issues and she worried mentally that she would not be able to cope with 5 days per week of training. She was the absolute star this week with so much determination and passion, she said to me this morning that she was feeling a little tied but also very alive. Give yourself a big pat on the back. After the session lots of talking relating to the foods the ladies have discovered they need to eat less or more of to help them along the journey all comparing food diary anayasis.

Until next week

Week 2 Another week has passed by and what great results have been achieved by all of the ladies. The progression has been tremendous and the ladies are all feeling stronger each day.Special; congratulations goes to everybody for the super effort on Thursday working as a team and helping each other through a tough morning when we started doing hill runs.First measure and wegh in is on monday so we are all excited to see the results and be able to share them with you all.

Week 4 Intensity has increased yet again and I thought by week 4 the girls might be getting a little tied, lethargic and losing their own motivation but surprise to me they are all getting to training earlier and keener everyday, stronger and fitter than they have ever been with as much if not more determination.
